FaCT3 Sign Major Irish Water Framework

As the new year begins, FaCT3 celebrate being reappointed as a Framework Partner of Irish Water through the signing of the 21/027 Multi Supplier Framework for the Provision of Major Process and MEICA Works (incorporating associated Civil Works) to Irish Water.   This Framework will support Irish Water’s Strategic Funding Plan which has approved funding of €5.2bn for the period 2020-2025 and thereafter aims to invest €1bn year-on-year up to 2030 to transform the delivery of water and wastewater services through the upgrading and expansion of its existing asset and infrastructure base.

The signing of this Framework for Irish Water will support the continuation of an already well-established joint venture between Farrans Construction, Celtic Anglian Water and TES Group, together known as FaCT3 and is a follow-on from the original 16/30 Framework through which the FaCT3 Consortium has provided and is continuing to provide specialist design, build and operation services to Irish Water.

The works to be delivered under this Framework will include the design, build and/or operation of both water and wastewater treatment assets incorporating some of the most advanced and innovative technologies in water abstraction, treatment systems, sludge treatment and handling, water distribution systems, on-site renewable energy generation, wastewater collection systems, other ancillaries.

As part of the FaCT3 Consortium, currently delivering a number of upgrade projects for Irish Water, Declan Maguire, Managing Director of Celtic Anglian Water said:
